PREPARING FOR THE JOURNEY

This is where I spend a good share of my day.
Preparation for any journey is essential to being able to maximize the experience.  So as I get closer  to my departure in April, my preparations have become more focused and directed.

I spend most of my time in this spot.   My pending reading is stacked on the left for ready attention.   The big notebook contains my required readings.   My Arabic dictionary and flash cars are near too.   The timer helps me keep my accountability log current.

Some may ask why I am working on Arabic.   Well, if I truly want to be able to communicate with the people, this is the least I can do to facilitate that.   I've found it to be fun learning another language after all these years.

I appreciate all your prayers as I prepare.
